About Dove Pointe - Our MissionOUR MISSION
The Mission of Dove Pointe is to be a point of connection between people and services to meet their desired outcomes, interests, and needs.
Dove Pointe officially opened their new facility on Mt. Hermon Road in Salisbury, Maryland in December of 1999. With the new facility came the re-naming of the Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity & Development Center to the present name of "Dove Pointe". Donald B. Hackett is the Executive Director of Dove Pointe.
Since 1968, Dove Pointe has provided services to persons with disabilities. Our Vocational Services focuses on teaching specific work skills necessary to become a successful employee. Through success on the job, we foster integration, rather than isolation, independence, rather than dependence.
"Dove Pointe is a perfect win-win combination where our neighbors with disabilities benefit from professional, life enhancing, and caring services while our Lower Shore community gains a beautiful...and heartwarming place to gather for both business and social occasions."

"Our agency has used the meeting rooms at Dove Pointe on several occasions for business seminars and other events. The rooms reflect quality and comfort. The consumers of Dove Pointe were involved in the catering of a wonderful lunch. We feel comfortable and welcome at Dove Pointe."
