ADULT DAY SERVICESDove Pointe offers a variety of meaningful activities during the day for adults with disabilities. Activity schedules are personalized to each individual's interests, strengths, and needs, and include experiences both on site as well as throughout the community. Several professional therapists and consultants are made available to participants on site, including physical therapy, music therapy, nutritional evaluation and counseling, as well as psychological and psychiatric services. The whirlpool/sauna gives individuals an opportunity for therapy as well as relaxation, and the snoozelen equipment provides sensory stimulation experiences. Transportation is provided daily. Staff work with consumers at Dove Pointe on the computer. The computer lab enables the consumer to develop skills with leisure time, games, or to explore entrepreneurial strategies. |
