Residential ServicesOUR RESIDENTIAL COORDINATORS
The goal of the residential services program is to provide residential support services which address the preferences, strengths, abilities, needs, and life span issues of the person served. Dove Pointe offers homes and apartments throughout the Salisbury area which provide both adults and children the opportunity to live more independently, develop skills, and receive needed supports. Supervision is provided by trained staff, and may include drop-in assistance or 24 hour live-in assistance, with nursing level staff available if needed. Consumer choice and empowerment are key elements in the selection of support staff and roommates. Consumers and their families have the opportunity to meet and interview potential roommates for a successful placement, and with the hiring process, they participate and provide input to the selection of support staff.
