Residential Services and Counselors"Achieving Greater Independence"
The goal of the residential services program is to provide residential support services which address the preferences, strengths, abilities, needs and life span issues of the person served. Consumers of the residential program receive training in order to achieve greater independence. Grocery shopping in the community enables consumer to plan and prepare meals to be served in the residential homes. Training in home living skills such as washing clothes, vacuuming, and bed making prepare consumers to live more independently. Transportation supports are provided at each of the residential homes to reflect the needs of the individuals served.
